“Phreaky MF” returns with a bang as Terminal Underground founder Matroda and GREG 99 remix the original record. The track fuses house music roots with a bold modern club sound, rebuilding Chicago attitude for today’s dancefloors.
First released in 2008 on Robsoul Recordings, “Phreaky MF” featured Mike Dunn and Mr. 69, shaping its raw, attitude-driven Chicago house sound. The record gained new attention following a 2020 reissue by Classic Music Company, part of Defected Records.
Before release, the remix generated attention in sets from Riordan at EDC Las Vegas, Chris Lorenzo during his Coachella 2025 Sahara set, San Pacho at EDC Mexico and John Summit’s Experts Only Radio.
The Matroda and GREG 99 remix drops on 16 January 2026. It connects house music’s past and present, honouring the original while bringing fresh energy to the club.
